A somewhat biased view on China…
I discovered an interesting set of pictures from photographer Tom Carter. This guy is currently traveling extensively throughout all 33 Chinese provinces and autonomous regions.
Enjoy!
Hutong to Highrise, an organization dedicated to documenting the disappearing hutong communities of Beijing that we already covered in a previous post, will be holding a photography exhibit at Dashanzi’s Bronze Age Gallery.
An opening reception will be held Saturday, July 22 from 3:00-6:00pm, and the exhibit will run through Sunday, July 23. Admission is free, although there is a suggested donation of 30RMB. All proceeds will be used to fund ongoing research.
Here is a copy of the flyer with directions and contact phone numbers:

I stumbled across the website of Feng Jiang, a PhD in Economics and Related Studies, and his amazing pictures about China… There is even a PowerPoint version of the pictures if you want to send it to your friends.
I’m not sure how long it will stay online though.
Yesterday, I received a few funny pictures from JayJay…
And I want to share them with you. If you guys like it, I could try to add more and more pictures in this category.
If you have more funny pictures about China, please send them to me and I will add them to the gallery!
All the pictures on this website have been taken by Sean T. McHugh in and out Cambridge University in England. But this website is not just about amazing pictures of Cambridge University, it’s rather a complete introduction to photography with a bunch of Digital Photography Tutorials.
