World’s tallest tower in Guangzhou

Guangzhou (Canton) (??) former TV Tower was finished in 1991 with its 217 meters. The new one will be the tallest tower in the world. The construction started last week on the 26th of August and is schedules to be finished in late 2007 or early 2008, just before the Olympic Games.

The roof of the tower is a 450. With its antenna of 160 meters, it makes the wall tower 610 meters for 12 floors. The tower has been designed as a climatic showcase. Here is a brief description of each floor from Sky Scraper Page:
