En transition
J’ai vu le lever du soleil à l’aéroport de Hong Kong et je le regarde, au coucher, depuis la baie vitrée de Tokyo/Narita. J’attends, en somme: encore quelques heures et c’est reparti pour un tour au-dessus des nuages. Demain matin - si tout va bien - l’aube à Honolulu!
Ci-dessus: un sushi-man dos et un boeing. Le paysage local, quoi.
PS: Une anecdote rigolote: j’ai quitté Hong Kong à 9h00 ce mardi matin et arriverai - si tout va bien (bis!) - à Hawai’i ce mardi matin à… 7h00! Soit “un jour de plus dans la vie”, comme l’a justement fait remarquer ma colocataire écossaise. Ceci dit, si on me proposait un jour en supplément, l’aéroport de Tokyo ne serait probablement pas sur ma short-list des meilleurs endroits pour le passer.

well, even if the airport wasn’t the best place in the world for your extra day, you got to see a beautiful sunset and now you’re in hawaii!!! i’m jealous.
when were on tour in the states, there was a radio station in connecticut dedicted to a style of music called reggaeton. all it is is a beat with bad music over it… every song has exactly the same beat! i was listening to my song something again and i realised that the djembe that you do at the end is the reggaeton beat!!! it made me laugh out loud!

reggaeton is a big thing in Cuba as well. i didn’t know i had it natural, though… let’s say that it adds some island flavour to something!
